After Apple chose Tumblr for its social media debut (http://digiday.com/platforms/apple-chose-tumblr-social-media-debut/) Viacom decided to partner with Tumblr. Tumblr as of March 3, 2014, hosts over 174.2 million blogs and has more complexed contents than Facebook and Twitter and its users are more passionate. Tumblr it’s the right social media for tv shows with a passionate viewership (The Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars, MTV music Awards, etc) but for this reason users must be engaged with really great contents.
