Tv Social Networks show small numbers for social tv strategies

I have been always doubtful about tv social networks as Miso and Get Glue.

I had the feeling that they were a possible solution in the early stage of social tv, in the trial period where tv networks and cable were trying to test different strategies.

After more than 2 years the numbers are still very small compared to the ratings, and those numbers should say to strategists that maybe tv social networks will not the killer app for social tv.
